The Diamett floor installation process is extremely simple and accessible thanks to
the UniClick system, which makes installation easier. There are several options to choose from, depending on your preferences and the room conditions. Diamett boards are equipped with the UniClick system, a popular and proven solution in the wooden flooring industry. This mechanism allows individual boards to be easily connected without the need for glue. As a result, the installation process is faster, and the floor can be installed without waiting for glue to dry, saving time.

RENOVATION OF LACQUERED DIAMETT FLOORS WITH THE ONE-DAY
BONA RECOAT SYSTEM
Thoroughly clean the surface with the Bona Power Scrubber machine using
Bona Deep Clean Solution or Bona Deep Clean products.
- Using Bona Diamond System abrasive papers, we remove
only the top layer of lacquer. - We vacuum the floor very thoroughly to guarantee
proper adhesion of the new lacquer. - We apply lacquer from the Bona Recoat Bona Traffic HD
system to the prepared surface. - The floor can be used starting the next day after the lacquer
has dried.
RENOVATION OF MECHANICAL DAMAGE WITH HARD WAXES
In the event of impacts from very heavy sharp objects, local mechanical damage may occur even on very hard Diamett flooring. To repair this type of damage, we use meltable hard waxes.
- The damaged area should be cleaned, vacuumed, loose fragments removed, and degreased if necessary.
- We select the appropriate hard wax colour.
- Using a hard wax heating device, fill the surface defect.
- The correct colour is achieved by mixing base colours and adding transparent filler.
- Remove excess wax with a spatula.
- Degrease the repaired area.
- Apply a thin transparent layer of lacquer.
- Very often the damage is small and local.
- One very interesting solution used even by the most renowned flooring brands is simply to turn the damaged spot into a beautiful KNOT.
RENOVATION OF OILED FLOORS
STAGES
- Thoroughly clean the surface with the Bona Power Scrubber machine using
cleaning products for oiled floors. - We vacuum the floor very thoroughly to guarantee
proper adhesion of the new oil. - Apply the first layer of oil to the prepared surface,
approx. 35 ml/m2. - After 6 hours, apply the second layer of lacquer, approx. 20 ml/m2.
The floor can be used after 12 hours.
